I failed to mention that Wikipedia has an article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Initial_coin_offering <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Initial_coin_offering>), saying that the ICO is a crowdfunding means, that the first ICO was in 2013 and that ICOs are “now extremely popular". BB
