I recall it from the early 1980s, maybe 1980-81. A quick look at NgramViewer for German (link below) shows that it was around earlier, but took off right at 1980. (I spot checked a couple of citations and they are for this word.)

The full term, "Antifaschismus" in German for example seems to be as old as
fascism itself. I'm not able right now to figure out when the shortened
