Using _Schuyler_ as my template, I thought of it as "Skyle.kill," until
ca.2009, when I moved into Northeast - not "northeastern" - P-A, not
"Pennsylvania." People also say "crick" and not "creek," "Mayan" and not
"mine," "overtown" - because it's over the Susquehanna River - and not
"downtown," around these parts.
