I’m pretty sure I heard Brian Williams talk about “reportables’ on “The 11th Hour with Brian Williams” tonight, which I took to mean “something worth reporting.”

Although reportable is an adjective in the online Oxford Dictionaries and Wiktionary, the noun is not listed.

Two examples from the web:

Other reportables include traders who can’t be classified into any of the above three segments but who have open positions above the reportable level specified by the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission).

As of 10/7/2016, producers, merchants, processors, and users (PMPU) as well as swap dealers are net short, while managed money and what the commission calls ‘other reportables’ are net long.
