Wikipedia has an article on decentralized applications that includes Dapp, dApp and DApp. The English OLD, Merriam-Webster and Wiktionary do not have “dapp.”

Although generally a term used in the crypto space, an article on Tim Berners-Lee’s Solid project (https://www.fastcompany.com/90243936/exclusive-tim-berners-lee-tells-us-his-radical-new-plan-to-upend-the-world-wide-web <https://www.fastcompany.com/90243936/exclusive-tim-berners-lee-tells-us-his-radical-new-plan-to-upend-the-world-wide-web>) mentions “decentralized apps,” showing that the decentralization movement is spreading and indicating that the word dapp may soon go beyond technical usage.
