NOTE: This is not as early as the 1969 citation I have previously uncovered, but is probably closer to the modern usage of the term than that citation. As the citations from the early 1970s continue to accumulate, it is more and more clear that the claims of Lin Farley to have coined the term in the mid-1970s are quite erroneous.
