Hm. Hadn't considered that. It does seem reasonable, though, considering
the popularity of Nev et soc. I'm a fan of "Catfish, the TV Show," myself.

By coincidence, I vaguely recall reading a story about blackfish, A.K.A.
"pilot whales."
 *Britannica.com**: pilot whale*, (genus *Globicephala*), also called
*blackfish*

An heroic blackfish leads a ship safely to port. I was in, like the third
grade, ca.  1945.

"Most Pilot Whales appear black or dark grey in color. That's why they are
also called 'blackfish'."
