“We don’t use pronouns.”

I’m not sure this--as in

--really qualifies as a QOTY candidate, but I find it interesting how often
we hear announcements like this made here by Barney Bishop, the head of the
Florida school board in question, who announced that at their schools (or
possibly in the entire state of Florida) “We don’t use pronouns”--when he’s
not pointing out that Michelangelo’s David constitutes “pornography”.
