[Ads-l] "-forward"

The "-forward" suffix has come up here from time to time. Back in 2010,
Arnold Zwicky alerted us to this Language Log post by Mark Liberman, "X
forward" (discussing "fashion-forward," "fruit-forward," etc.):

More recently, JL brought up "plant-forward diet" in 2023, and Garson
antedated "fashion-forward" to 1930.
