the duology have their motivation in the boycott.

1956 _Salt Lake Tribune_ (March 4) 14-W [Ibid.]: This is really a
monumental duology.

2009  If *trilogy* means a set of three literary or dramatic works related
in subject or theme, what do you call a set of two works? ...  Duology,
very rarely used though.

books = *Hexology*  [Etc., etc., up to twenty.]

2025 Quora.com :  Duology: a set or sequence of two related works (books,
films, albums) that form a connected narrative or thematic whole.... "Duology"
is standard in genre publishing and fandoms (fantasy, sci‑fi, YA).
