It may just be that the working class is starting to realize it’s been sold

I delve into a new label for Trumpism, “Aristopopulism,” which sounds like
the work of a satirist but was invented by a real live political scientist
to describe MAGA (sympathetically!) The idea that the laboring masses crave
not just a new elite but a new *aristocracy *has been embraced by an
influence peddler named Christopher Buskirk. Aristopopulism sounds nicer
than “kleptocracy,” I guess, or “oligarchy,” or “fascism.” Anyway, if you
