[Ads-l] Authentic Antedating of "Fakelore"

Please disregard my previous 1892 "antedating," which actually read "Fake Folk Lore."

Jon Lighter is probably right that the 1893 citation for "fakelore" is a typo.  But here is a major authentic antedating of Dorson's claim that he coined the word in 1950 (Charles Doyle pointed out in an article that Dorson himself was not accurate about the dating, which was actually 1949).
