This is an unusual antedating of the term "reverse discrimination."

1942 Minneapolis Daily Times 6 May 15/8 (Newspapers.com)  A charge of "reverse discrimination" was made today by a Negro citizens' committee, which asked President Walter C. Coffey for a definite statement on the University of Minnesota's policy governing housing of students.  The Rev. C. T. R. Nelson of St. Paul, spokesman for the committee, said an "international house" was set up last fall to house university students of all colors, races and creeds, but that white residents of the house subsequently were asked by university officials to move out, leaving only Negroes as residents.  This, said Mr. Nelson, "was sort of a reverse discrimination process."
