Hi everyone, this is the author of the blog linked to. (I'm not sure if I've figured out how to successfully reply to a specific thread or if this is going to start a new one but I guess we'll see...)

I want to thank everyone who's expressed an interest in the blog, or posted encouraging comments. I truly appreciate it. But I never intended for this to be widely-known. I just wanted to write about whatever happened to interest me, and I feel like I'm unable to do that at this point. I won't feel comfortable knowing I have an audience that knows more about these things than I do, and I won't feel free to comment on my true beliefs knowing there are people reading who might disagree with them or be unhappy with them. I'm also a very private person and while I completely understand the curiosity about who I am, it's not something I want to share or have people speculate about. (I will say, though, that I'm not anyone any of you would know...just a random guy on the internet with zero qualifications beyond reading a lot.)

I've set the blog as private, at least for the time being. I don't know if I'll eventually decide to continue with it at some point in the future. I'll have to see how I feel.

Thank you again for the support many of you have given me. I'm truly, truly grateful and humbled, and I wish everyone the best.
