In Keo, an Austronesian language spoken in central Flores, Indonesia, the
word for whale is embu-ngembu.

Active-whale hunting is no longer practiced off the south central coast of
Flores.  However if a whale strays close into shore, or beaches itself,
people will kill it and distribute the meat, blubber and bones throughout
the village, using every part of the whale.
