[An-lang] Etymology of SARANGGOLA

Hello,

Does anyone have an idea on the etymology of Taglaog "saranggola" meaning
"kite?"

It looks Spanish, but it apparently isn't. The term is "cometa" in Spanish.

The /o/ in the word seems to suggest that it's a word of non-Tagalog origin.

Any ideas?
