The Journal of the Polynesian Society is publishing its old volumes on-line, fully searchable, at:
http://www.jps.auckland.ac.nz/browse.php
So far, they've put 1892-1936 online, but add another year's issues every week or so.
There are some classic studies, including first grammars and vocabularies of many Polynesian languages, and much else.
Most of the contributors were actually there when the languages were still vital, or even original, so their articles are worthwhile.
