[An-lang] Austronesian After Dark – new website & long-term vision

Dear colleagues,

A quick note about Austronesian After Dark (or simply After Dark for short) – the relaxed online series for our Austronesian linguistics community.

I've just created a simple website for the series:

In the long run, I hope to grow After Dark into a regular forum for talks that can be archived and cited – a valuable space for sharing research and ideas in our field, similar to ICAL or SEALS, while continuing to foster community and connections across generations.

The trial hangout is still scheduled for next Tuesday, December 30, 2025 (30 minutes of casual end-of-year chat – details and links are on the website).

Feel free to visit the site, and I hope many of you will join us for future gatherings!
