Alan,
I think they do not occur.
I checked my 11 million word corpus (63 MB), and found ZERO occurrences of
both words mentioned.

Checking all words starting with faw or qab in order to see other
occurrences of the prefixes would be too much trouble, because a search for
qb* or fw* will render thousands of occurrences.
However, if you have some specific combinations with these prefixes, it
would be easy.
Just let me know.

Ustaz Alan:

The use of abbreviated forms of qabla and fawqa in portmanteau words
(kalimaat manHuuta?) is extremely rare. The few citations I could find
probably postdate Wehrís outstanding lexicography.

qabmiilaadii: 1 instance in an article published in Al-Hayat in 1995
qabtaariixii: 2 in separate articles in Al-Hayat 1995, over 20 in Al-Mawrid
Encyclopedia
qabkambrii: 1 in Al-Mawrid Encyclopedia
fawqwaaqi`iyya: 1 in Al-Hayat 1995 (note that the qaaf wasnít dropped here
and the combination was spelled without intervening space)
fawqawmiyya: 1 in Al-Hayat 1997 (thatís a remarkably smooth blend! fawq +
qawmiyya)

There may be other words and instance other than those I cite above. Because
searching for /qb/ and /fw/ yields too many hits (qbl, qbH, qbr, qbD, etc.)
I actually restricted my search to /Alqb?/ and /Alfw?/ to find the above.

In the entire year of 1995 in Al-Hayat newspaper, no form of qabmanTiqi or
qablmanTiqi (one word or two) appears.  fawSawti and fawqSawti (one word)
also do not appear, but there are four references with fawq Sawti as two
words in the following contexts:

raSad fawq Sawti
mawjAt fawq Sawtiyya
AlnbDAt fawq AlSawtiyya
nbDAt fawq Sawtiyya

After getting a pre-peek at Tim's response, I also include below some of
his examples with a bit more context for those who are interested, plus a
few other forms that popped up to compare between the reduced forms and
fuller forms that appeared in the same year of the newspaper.  There
appears to be a cline betwee a 'syntactic' version, like al-shay' maa fawq
al-waaqicy, a little less, like al-shay' fawq al-waaqicy, even a little
less, like al-shay' al-fawq waaqicy, (the latter with syntactic combination
but with the graphical space still in place), and finally the al-shay'
al-fawqwaaqicy, which may someday, who knows, lead to al-shay'
al-fawwaaqicy.  Anyway, here are the examples for what they are worth.  All
of them are from al-Hayat 1995. (the list is far from exhaustive)
