In the film al-Azimah, Ramadan is part of the setting in several scenes.
Here's a brief description from Walter Armbrust of some of them:

No, no iftar scenes. Much of the action early in the film happens during
Ramadan. Basically everything up until Muhammad marries Fatma.
Unfortunately the only time Ramadan is mentioned explicitly is during one
brief sequence. Muhammad is in the bakery talking to Fatma's father.
When he leaves the father says something about it being Ramadan. Muhammad
goes into the street where there are Ramadan lights strung up. A bunch of
kids are playing, and they all have fawanis. Fatma comes out onto the
balcony and starts trying to get one of the kids (her little brother) to
come in for the night. The kid resists because he's having too much fun,
so Muhammad corrals him for Fatma and brings him in. That's about it.
The only other mention of Ramadan is when the butcher thinks he's aced
Muhammad out of marrying Fatma, and he (the butcher) makes a crack to her
about her not fasting "like her mother," and that next year they'll be
married and he and Fatma will be breaking the fasts together.

I've used the "saHuur" scene from Al-Aragouz.
