Okay ... I hope you have installed KDE GUI .. if so login to your
Linux KDE and from the "KDE Menu" select "Control Center" and from
there select "Keyboard Layout" and then Add the Arabic language to
the "Active Layouts" -- by doing this a small flag button will show
in your system tray ... you have Arabic now.
Now for openoffice just start openoffice and go to "Tools" then
"Options" and select "Languages" from "Language Settings" check the
"Enabled for complex text layout (CTL)" then in the same place select
from "CTL" "Arabic (*)" -* means any Arabic country- ... thats all.
Now you can write in Arabic just open writer from openoffice and
change the font to any Arabic one and change the alignment to be from
right to left and enjoy.
