Subject: Why 60?
Many if not all the exaples that you mentioned are taken from the
Egyptian dialect, while in other dialects people use other intestifiers
like 20, 800, 70, 400 and others. I still agree that 60 is one of the
most popular among all intistifiers. The explanation - as I see it - is
phonetic; since sit-teeeen differs from 80 (tamaneeen), 90 (tis3eeeen)
and other numbers because of the stress on the "T" and the stress or
boubling the letter or as we know it in Arabic as al-Shdda is one way
different Arabic dialects use to intistify or to exaggerate things.
