Subject:UNC Women's Studies Program in Amman
Dear Colleagues,
University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill (UNC) is accepting
applications for the Summer 2012 Women's Studies Program in Amman,
Jordan.
Students take 2 courses: ARAB350 Women and Leadership in the Arab
World - taught by UNC Professor Nadia Yaqub, and ARAB434 Modern Arabic
Literature in Translation - taught by University of Jordan Professor
Rula Quawas. Volunteer opportunities are also available at local NGOs
that regularly host exchange students.
This UNC program is operated in conjunction with CET Academic
Programs. Applications are accepted until March 9, 2012. To apply
