Subject:jaab -- jaa'a bi query

Hello,

I've been thinking about the colloquial Arabic 'jaab' or 'yaab' or 'gaab'
(to bring) that exists in many spoken varieties of Arabic. Since I'm not a
historical linguist, I was wondering if there's any evidence or arguments
in the literature that this maybe be a reduced form of جاء ب (come with).
It seems pretty intuitive but I need to know if there's been any reference
for it in the literature.

By the same token, is jalaba جلب related to جاء historically in any way?
