Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This position will coordinate the Flagship program by supporting its
faculty and students in their language immersion program. The position will
also support the administrative needs of the Flagship Director and the
Director of Special Programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA required, preferable in an area of international studies
1-2 years of experience coordinating an educational program
1 year of experience planning events
1 year of experience working with students in a teaching, advising or
academic program capacity
Excellent communication skills which can be demonstrated across divers
cultural backgrounds
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment
Preferences:
Knowledge of/interest in Middle East cultures
Experience studying/working abroad
Experience studying a foreign language to a high level of proficiency
Capability with spreadsheets and numerical reporting
