I use sho fi ma fi , Yale university press, text book.
Along with YouTube Syrian shows, and mostly dubbed Turkish shows in shami
dialect, because the speed of the speech is more appropriate and easier to
understand.

Subject: Shami Colloquial response

Dear Zaki,

I am sure you are aware of the 3rd edition of Al-Kitaab, but wanted to say
that I have used this with success.  In my case, MSA and Shami were
combined, but you could take the Shami sections and teach as stand-alone
units.  This may be particularly more feasible now that the 2nd book is
out.  Good luck!
