No video, just audio

Thank you so much for your fast reply!

My problem with CHAT concerns the 2nd option you mentioned. Restarting and 
rebooting the PC doesn't help. The problem occurs with al my video and CHAT 
files. The ICT expert of the company I work for installs new CLAN and QUICK 
Time versions so next week I hope the problem is solved.

If not I will email you my files including the video media file.

Margo,

   There is a setting in CLAN that chooses which media file is played in
case if you have both audio and video media files with the same file
name. You can change that setting using menu "Mode->Play audio media
first".

If the problem you are having is that the movie window opens, but the
video is not playing and only audio is playing, then try to quit CLAN
completely and restart it and try again. The next step is to reboot your
computer and to try playing video again.

If it still doesn't work, then please tell me what version of OS you are
using and if you have the latest version of QuickTime and CLAN
installed. Also, please email to me directly your CHAT file and try to
upload the corresponding video media file to this URL:
