GEM/FREQ Command No Longer Providing Frequency Count

Hello,
I have a question regarding a command that no longer works the same way it
used to.
Our lab uses GEMs (@Bg: exclude and @Eg: exclude) to mark exclusions in our
transcripts, and we previously used the following command to get a
frequency count of all of the excluded bullets: gem +t*chi +sexclude +d
*B*.cha | FREQ +s"[= *]"
This used to give us a separate output file with a frequency count of all
of the excluded bullets, but it no longer seems to give us the count at the
end of the output.
We were wondering if the command needs to be modified to get the same
result. We also tried the GEMFREQ command described in the newer manual and
reviewed the section on +s commands (p. 182), but we weren't able to get it
to work for our transcripts. We have also downloaded the newest version of
CLAN, but we're still having the same issue.
Does anyone know what we might need to change in the command, or if there
is a different way we should be doing this now? Any advice would be greatly
appreciated!
Thank you!
Erin
