GEM/FREQ Command No Longer Providing Frequency Count

Erin,
I need to know what computer system you are working on. We have always discouraged people from using "|" to send output of one command to another.
>From your command line example "FREQ +s"[= *]"" it looks like you want frequency count of words associated with "[= *] codes.
Please, tell me more about your data organization, because bullets cannot be associated with any code. It would also help if you could provide small example of your data and what you are trying to get out of it. Example of an output you want to get would help a lot.
