Hi, everyone,

The book "Skookum" about a family of white pioneers in Oregon has plenty
of mentions of the Chinook Jargon.  Just saw it in Bellingham, WA, in a
used-book store today.  Several copies are available.

More on the Salishan conference and the Chinook Jargon element there when
I get back home to Spokane.
