Sure, Dave. I thought perhaps I was the only one with this problem.
It seems that by default a sender does not receive a copy of posts
made to the list. This apparently presumes the sender keeps a copy
of the outgoing message and doesn't need or want another one.
To get a copy of your own posts back as they are circulated to the
list, send a message like this to the server (that is, to
LISTSERV at LINGUIST.LDC.UPENN.EDU, not CHINOOK@ or SALISHAN@):
SET CHINOOK REP
Put that in the text (body of the message). The subject line is
unimportant and may be left blank. Substitute SALISHAN for CHINOOK
as appropriate.
