I'm new on the list and don't know how much is already common knowledge! But
there's a photograph in Merrit and the Nicola Valley: an Illustrated History
of a horse and wagon. The caption reads "George Childs on Clay Bluffs near
Potatoes Illahee." I wonder if that's the area out towards the Coldwater River?
