Some Jargon place names

Well, while filing my old email (yes, I'm finally catching up on
things here), I ran across a promise I made long ago to find the
Oregon Blue Book on-line.  The new edition is indeed on the Web, at
http://www.sos.state.or.us/BlueBook/1999_2000/default.htm.

However, it appears the Blue Book no longer lists the origins of
place names, but instead refers the reader to "Oregon Geographic
Names," by Lewis A. McArthur. It is available from the Oregon
Historical Society Press. (F874 .M16 1992).  It doesn't seem to be on
the Web.

While hunting for it I did run across "American Indian Names Of
Locations On And Around The Umpqua National Forest."
