Hadn't that of that! I'll bet you're right. "Wow" is of purely North
American origin, as is "uh-huh" and "uh-uh," both of which are First
Nations contributions. For that matter, until World War II, the English
didn't say "Hi." Sounds a lot like how-ho-heh, eh?

We seem to have struck a vein here.
