Whats going on?

I am very confused and I hope someone will answer these questions.

What is going on?

Why was Mike C. removed from the list?

Do we (the list community) have any say in the policies of this list and if
so then what is the process of expelling a listmember?

What does it mean when we do not have any right to decide policy?

Who gets to make these decisions?

Who thought Mike C.'s  posts were improper enough to expel him?

This has become now a serious breech in trust for the list. Can anyone now
freely write and discuss sensitive matters without fear of removal?

I think the CJ list community deserves an answer from those who are
responsible or who have taken responsibility for removal of Mike C.?

If there is real reason for his removal, then what is it?

The process of creating this list and the atmosphere of creative
cooperative learning where all opinions are respected and even if there is
disagreement, that a respectful and constructive discussion ensues. As Dave
R. said carefully correcting. But we have now gone somewhere beyond the
careful into who knows where...?

Please make a decision to work together to correct the actions of the past
week. I would hate to see factionalism divide our already small audience of
Chinook Jargon enthusiasts and  speakers.
