Chilcotin, yes. - Rev. Lunden Brown's gallows-cell conversation with
Klatsassan were conducted in Jargon, as was much of the
testimony/interrogation at the trial (that was held to hang the leaders
of the Chilcotin war); I was more referring to areas north of there
(other thna the Nuxalk, who I mention simply for their remoteness; I'm
not if Jargon was known in there although I supposed it'd be as true of
them as the Skeena Gitksan that they would have picked it up from other
coastal peoples further south.  I was more thinking of northern BC
language regions where the Jargon didn't seem to have gotten - Carrier,
Sekani, Treaty 6 etc. - but where the voyageurs and the Company
certainly _were_ active.
