"clue" (was Execution of Scotseye)

Hi,

This one sailed right over my head the first time 'round, as though I were being obliviously preemptively keelhauled:

"Boston clue" and "King George clue", where "clue" means "ship", could involve Indian approximations of the English word "crew", as Yann Vincent astutely points out.

Icter miker tumtumm?

Dave
