Sally's mention of Jargon _tL'mEn_ reminds me of a derivative of its etymon in Lower Chinook, _ige'L!mEnL!mEn_ , here in Boas's spelling for 'syphilis' (1911:616). Does anyone recall having seen some instance of its use in a Jargon context, maybe without the pronominal _i-ge_ rather simply repeated to denote the disease which causes mush, and not something mashed?
