The reduplicated (doubled) tL'mEntL'mEn form that
George mentions does turn up in some CJ sources,
but not with the disease meaning.  The Quebec
French missionary St. Onge (et al.) has Tlemen
tlemen elehi `dust' (literally mased mashed earth)
and also tlemin tlemin elehi `mud'; Horatio Hale
has kliminklimin `sand, fine, ground to pieces';
Lionnet has tlimentlimen tsapelill `flour';
etc.
