Today I got a UW magazine.  There's an article about Melville Jacobs.  I
enjoyed reading it.

The article about Melville Jacobs is in "Columns".  Don't know if it's
on-line but their URL is
http://www.washington.edu/alumni/columns.  Chinook Wawa is not specifically
mentioned, but it was good to read about this scholar who is responsible for
"Texts in Chinook Jargon".  There was information about the collection of
his field notebooks at UW library and a recent workshop in which it was made
accessible to a group of local tribal members.
