"Shamrocks on the Tanana"

I'm working over a manuscript, with a view to preparing it for publication,
which has some CJ dialogue in it. The title is "Shamrocks on the Tanana:
Richard Geoghegan's Alaska", and the author is David B. Richardson.
Geoghegan was an Irishman living in London when, in about 1887, he became
the first English-speaking Esperantist and translator of the official
English version of Zamenhof's "Unua Libro" (First Book) on the new
International Language. A few years later he emigrated to Eastsound, on
Orcas Island, then to Tacoma (somewhere during his Washington sojourn he was
a cofounder of the Seattle Esperanto Society), and ultimately he became a
significant figure in the history of Alaska's territorial jurisprudence. He
was also deeply involved in developing ties between the NW, Alaska, and
Japan.

Although my primary interest in him and his biography is the Esperanto
connection, there is some interesting material in CJ and several other
NW/Alaskan languages. I'll try to remember to copy out the CJ stuff for this
list.
