The words in Chinookan for 'deer' are not like -musmus. The word for 'elk' is'mulak, which may be suggestive, but not quite enough. But Molale unfortuately I don't know. Melville Jacobs did some work with a woman Molale speaker, but if I remember right, it was not published.
