Hi, 
Yes saw the article too. The book is published by the Oregon
Historical Society, www.ohs.org and was only printed in December 2005,
it is not yet available in stores. OHS has it for $23 and Amazon lists
it for $16 as a pre-order. This is the first book about a member of
the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, that I am aware of. It Joins
George Aguilera's book "When the River Ran Wild!" (OHS 2005) as 
significant biographies and histories of Oregon Tribes in the
contemporary era.
