My last discovery in CJ etymology:
The CJ word for "porpoise, dolphin": quiceo (Anderson 1857), quiceeo (Stuart 1865?), quiseeo (Blanchet 1869?), kwi'sEo (Holton), kwi7sEo (Saxton) comes probably from Lushootseed qwsyu'? (Bates & al.: Lushootseed Dictionary, 1994).
