[Corpora-List] Index list in Wordsmith

Hello
I am trying to create an index list file in the Wordlist tool of
Wordsmith package. However elaborate the online help about
"Making an Index List" is, it is not clear how to go about giving a
command or selecting text(s). The online help describes how the
program creates different files, but it does not say how to create
the index file.
Any tips or suggestions?
