[Corpora-List] Looking for a native speaker of Finnish

Dear all,

Polderland Language & Speech Technology specialises in language technology.
The company develops programs which give computers linguistic intelligence.
We research and develop new technologies using linguistic principles.
At the moment, we are developing a tool for Finnish, for use in search engines.

We are looking for a native speaker of Finnish, who can help us.
We need the speaker of Finnish for:
- Testing the (linguistic) quality of the tool by comparing input and output.
- Gathering electronic texts serving as test material.
- Linguistic support.

The testing of the tool will take place from 1 November 2002 till half
December (weeks 45 to 50). In the first week, we will need the speaker of
Finnish for approximately 24 hours (three days work). After that, we will
need him or her for linguistic support, answering linguistic questions.
That will cost approximately 2-4 hours a week.
We're looking for speakers of Finnish who have a (techno)linguistic
background. He or she should be able to detect and solve structural
linguistic problems in the tool. He or she should speak Dutch or English
and have good communication skills. The work can be done locally, provided
he or she is in possession of a reliable personal computer and e-mail
facilities. Besides, we are looking for someone who can be reached easily
and is able to react quickly. In addition, familiarity with computers,
internet, search engines is a pre.
