Dear Shakthi,
The NLP group at UPC (Barcelona) has a chart-based shallow parser
available as part of their FreeLing package (an open source language
analysis kit). You can find all details and files to download at:
http://garraf.epsevg.upc.es/freeling/
I hope this helps.
Best,
Victoria.

Hi,
Is there a Spanish parser available as a freeware?
I have not had an easy time trying to find one.
Best,
Shakthi Poornima
