We are happy to announce the first public (GNU General Public License
v. 3) release of Spejd, a shallow parser which allows for simultaneous
partial syntactic parsing and rule-based morphosyntactic
disambiguation.  Spejd has been developed at the Institute of Computer
Science, Polish Academy od Sciences, Warsaw.  The release contains
Java sources and binaries.  More information is availabe in the README
files and in the documentation mentioned there.
