It's not a corpus of just terrorism per se, but you might try the Corpus of American English:

http://www.americancorpus.org

There's about 50,000 hits for terrorism, terrorist, error, etc. You can use these as node words and the easily search for collocates, and compare them across the different sections of the 360 million word corpus (1990-2007).

Also, might look at TIME Corpus (corpus.byu.edu/time; 100 million words, 1920s-2000s) for the historical dimension. Same functionality as the Corpus of American English listed above.

Best,

Mark Davies

Dear all,

I am looking for a corpora of news on terrorism written in English. If it's already tagged, that's even better (being tagged is not a condition). Do you happen to know any (which is free)?
