Hi Muhammad,
You may want to check out XTrans - a new transcription tool freely
available from LDC:
www.ldc.upenn.edu/tools/XTrans/
XTrans, a next generation multi-platform, multilingual, multi-channel
transcription tool to support manual transcription and annotation of
audio recordings. XTrans provides a flexible and intuitive graphical
user interface for a multitude of speech annotation tasks including
(virtual) segmentation of audio into smaller units (turns and
sentences), speaker identification, orthographic transcription in any
language and labeling of structural elements of the transcript. It also
allows the user to configure shortcuts and transcripts are output in a
Tab Delineated Format (TDF). Windows and Linux versions are available
for download.
XTrans also fully supports overlapping speech transcription from a
virtually unlimited number of audio channels. A pdf tutorial is also
available on the XTrans page.
Best,
Ilya
